[DevJobsIndo] Vacancy Announcement: Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

 

Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest for the
Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist on our USAID Indonesia Forestry and
Climate Support Project (USAID IFACS). USAID IFACS seeks to reduce the
threats of deforestation and climate change, and help the Government of
Indonesia (GOI) conserve the country's tropical forests, wildlife, and
ecosystem processes (including carbon sequestration).

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Party (COP), and working
closely with the project technical team, the (M&E) Specialist will be
responsible for the project's compliance with USAID performance reporting
requirements. The M&E Specialist will oversee the development and
implementation of the IFACS Project performance monitoring plan, and have an
active role in helping to define at least two Project evaluations. In
addition, the M&E specialist will supervise the performance monitoring of
all grants and sub-contract on the Project in concert with regional
technical staff, and technical specialists in Jakarta. The M&E specialist is
part of the IFACS senior management team, and is responsible for data
quality control, quarterly and annual reports, and participates in the
development of annual work plans and targets. In addition, the M&E
specialist will work with USAID Indonesia's Implementing Partners with the
assembly of annual reporting for USAID Indonesia to USAID in Washington,
D.C.

QUALIFICATIONS:

He/she must have Graduate degree in community development, demographics,
sociology or related discipline with at least 10 years of work experience
related to Monitoring and Evaluation of USAID or other International Donor
projects.

He/she must:

* Experience in developing, maintaining databases and designing data
collection protocol,
* Experience and be able to design and manage PMP,
* Be able to engage in activities occurring in multiple fields sites
with multiple stakeholders across Indonesia
* Demonstrate ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams and be a
strong team player
* Professional competency in spoken and written English
* Have willingness to travel extensively in Indonesia
