Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest for the
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer on our USAID Indonesia Forestry and
Climate Support Project (USAID IFACS). USAID IFACS seeks to reduce the
threats of deforestation and climate change, and help the Government of
Indonesia (GOI) conserve the country's tropical forests, wildlife, and
ecosystem processes (including carbon sequestration).
JOB SUMMARY:
The M&E Officer is a junior level position. This position offers the right
Indonesian candidate the opportunity to develop new skills and experience in
the growing field of climate change programming. The M&E Officer reports to
the M&E Specialist, and is responsible for day-to-day management operations
of the IFACS Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) at the outputs and annual
outcome levels. S/He supports the M&E Specialist to develop the M&E
instruments, maintains the IFACS PMP database, and trains staff in its use.
QUALIFICATIONS:
He/she must have Graduate degree in community development, demographics,
sociology or related discipline with at least 5 years of work experience
related to Monitoring and Evaluation of USAID or other International Donor
projects.
He/she must:
* Have experience/can demonstrate proficiency in the assembly,
manipulation and reporting of data
* Have analytical and logical mind
* Have strong English skills
* Have excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
* Demonstrate ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams and be a
strong team player
* Have willingness to travel extensively in Indonesia
* Background in forestry, natural resources or climate change is an
advantage
