implemented comprehensive, collaborative democracy solutions in more than
120 countries.Currently we are looking for Linux Server Administrator
based in Jakarta for short term contract period (*+* 3 months)

*Job Description Linux Server Administrator*

The role of Linux Server Administrator is to administer office-wide servers
and its network, monitoring server and network performance and managing
user accounts. A position which require 2-5 Years of IT experience in
field of Linux server administration, mail server(Postfix, Dovecot), Spam
control, Database server (My SQL, Postgre) and clustering. Having
experience in medium to large production environment.

*Responsibilities *

· - Daily monitoring and maintenance of servers and networks

· - Perform backup, file replication and script management for
servers;

· - Test and apply new software and maintenance patches, including
management patches;

· - Complete security audits on routine basis;

· - On-boarding and migrating users;

· - Administrative scripting with Perl, Phyton and Shell;

· - Undertake such as other duties as may be requested/directed
from time to time;

· - Provide customer support via telephone, email, knowledge base
program and other tools;

· - Travel as required.

*Position Requirements *

· - University degree or diploma in the field of Information
Technology;

· - Linux Systems Management for Large Enterprises;

· - Performance monitoring, Load Balancing and Optimizing Linux
servers in production environment;

· - Extensive experience in Postfix;

· - Thorough knowledge of Unix concepts, file systems, permissions,
ACLs, kernel configuration;

· - Extensive knowledge of standard Unix services like SSH, FTP,
NFS, NIS, LDAP, DNS, Samba, Sudo;

· - Excellent troubleshooting skills for mail servers and server
database (MySQL or Postgre);

· - User, Group and File System management skills;

· - Extensive experience with Spam Filtering and Antivirus
management in Linux;

· - Experience in Mail Transfer Agents, Linux clustering, DNS
management;

· - Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written);

· - Experience at working both independently and in a
team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
