solutions. It needs change. It needs action.


Currently we are seeking a *Volunteer Coordinator.*

Reporting to Mass Mobilization Director, the Volunteer Coordinator is
responsible to :


*1. **Managing a large sustainable volunteer taskforce*

· Develop marketing, promotion, organizing and mobilization
strategies to recruit volunteers including identifying volunteer sources
and building relationships with institutes and or leaders

· Grow and maintain GPSEA's volunteer database ensuring volunteer
information is current as well as skill set and interest are matched with
area of organization volunteers will be working in and tracking their
performance

· Develop volunteer induction and skills training and development
programs ensuring goals setting, work plans, mentoring program, training
and effective performance management.

· Ensure GPSEA staff and volunteers are briefed on each other's
needs and expectations

· Promote and design programs where volunteers could be involved in
various areas of GPSEA

· Manage budget designated for Volunteer programs

· Manage volunteer aspects of Greenpeace related community events
as able and needed. This may include stalls at festivals, large scale
community events such as rallies and other public engagement events.


*2. Planning, Implementation and Evaluation*

· Ensure that the volunteer program complies with Greenpeace
policies and relevant laws

· Build a culture of Praxis (theory – action – Reflection) across
GPSEA and develop, implement, maintain and evaluate volunteer management
systems and processes

· Assist the MM Mangers on in Country planning days and participate
in evaluation of programs.


*3. Project Management*

· Lead and implement projects, including representation of GPSEA at
local, national or international where assigned by SMT and MM Manager**
