CARE International Indonesia (CII), as an international NGO, has carried out large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency
operations, transitional activities centered on agriculture and
nutrition and a range of development initiatives in such areas as water
and sanitation, health and micro-credit.
CARE Indonesia in Jakarta is currently recruiting the following position for its project:
JOB TITLE : GENDER SPECIALIST CONSULTANT
DEPARTMENT/PROJECT : PROGRAM/EED
REPORTS TO : PROGRAM DESIGN and QUALITY MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
A. Input or thought or idea to ensure that the following main program design components are addressing gender empowerment.
1. Log Frame of Project (including activities, indicators and output)
2. Methodology of Project (such as strategy, project management)
3. Sustainability of Project related to gender empowerment
B. Observation report on workshop discussion on gender empowerment perspective, including recommendation for implementation (activities and indicator of impact).
C. The consultant will work support CARE Indonesia team who facilitate the workshop by providing input, idea or share experience in gender equality program design and implementation as well as monitoring during the discussion, Q & A, or working group within the workshop participants.
QUALIFICATIONS
CII seeks assistance from consultants with the relevant experience and capacities to carry out the assignment including:
· Knowledge of gender equality program.
· Past experience in working with community for gender empowerment.
