World Vision Indonesia is seeking the following positions:
Market Development Facilitator ( Code: MDF)

Location: Sikka, Nusa Tenggara

Purpose of Position:
To assist producers within the Flores Islands Flotim, Sikka ADPs and the ADP on Rote, to increase the incomes of producers by meeting buyers requirements and gaining access to more lucrative and sustainable markets. Key duties will include; understanding the opportunities for local production, conducting value chain and sub-sectorial analysis, identifying key market players, opportunities and constraints, formulating innovative market hypothetical’s and generating real market driven opportunities and orders.

Qualification:

Master degree in economics, business administration, public administration, international development or related field is preferred.

Understanding of the culture and conditions in NTT specifically Rote and Sikka

Strong understanding of commercial market operations and systems

Knowledge of value chain and sub-sectorial analysis and affects on poor producers

Knowledge of primary production and agriculture

Understanding of market development projects and methods

Knowledge in research design and implementation

A good command of the English LanguageStrong computer literacy skills including MS Office Suite; e-mail and internet
